Emerald Hollow Therapeutic Riding Center works with people with special needs of all ages and veterans through equine assisted activities. Individuals interact with the horses both riding and non riding depending on the goals and the abilities of the group and/or individuals.
Volunteers assist with handling horses in lessons, walking next to individuals when they are riding, helping to care for the horses and the farm as well as fundraising and marketing for our non-profit organization.
A registration packet and 3 hour initial training are required. The average commitment per week is 1 hour.
Great way to get your "horse fix" while giving back to those in need in our local community.
